San Francisco Bay Areaをベースに活動するAboutHerFilmsが、今年２月の”TOGETHER” でのライブパフォーマンスとともにインタビューをフィーチャーしてくれました。TOGETHERでのパフォーマンスは、ベイエリアのハウスダンサーとのコラボレーションという試みで、ダンサーの白のT-shirtsに、派手に赤で文字を書くというもの。実際のクラブスペースの中では、ハウスミュージックがガンガンかかってます。モデルとなってくれたSoul Nubian, Ten, Amy Nabong, Mocaの表情がまたいいのなんの。。Mocaに至っては、Hawaiiからこのショーの為に飛んで来てくれました。楽しくパフォーマンスさせてもらいました。 このビデオはHipHopIsCoolAgain.comにもフィーチャーされました！ * AboutHerFilms made a really nice video piece
Saturday May 7th, 2011. 一晩限りの、ポップアップ個展をGallery Heistにて開催しました。 I had a pop-up solo exclusive viewing of selected works at Gallery Heist. 木から人の手を経て出来た「紙」が、「還源」するというコンセプトを表現した、自然の木を使ったスカルプチャーも展示しました。作業は連日、朝２〜３時までに及びました。 アコースティックギターとJack Johnsonみたいな声の持ち主のJamesの歌声に癒されながら、着々と作業。Noa-氏、Shing02氏も遊びに来てくれました。 Heist Wallには、新たなMural Project。 “Who You Are Defines What
今週金曜日、R/GA サンフランシスコオフィスにお呼ばれしてきました。 R/GAとは、Nike+ キャンペーンでも知られる米国でも大手の広告会社（インタラクティブ • フルサービス • エージェンシー）。New York、San Francisco、London, Chicago, São Paulo, Singaporeと世界6都市にオフィスを構えています。このR/GAが、３ヶ月に渡りCreative Connectという春のレクチャーシリーズをキックオフ。建築家、アーティスト、キュレーター、シェフ、ダンサー、ストリートアーティストなど、様々なジャンルで活躍するクリエイティブ • プロフェッショナルをピックし、それぞれの作品や考えなどに触れてインスピレーションを共有する場所をR/GAが提供するというものです。トークは全て一般公開。今月から６月まで毎週金曜日に行われるそうです。 このシリーズの幕開けを飾るスピーカーとして、書家/アーティストとしての活動や思想についてお話させて頂き、その後35分間の書道パフォーマンスも披露しました。上のような、素敵なフライヤーと、ポスターまでデザインしていただきました。 R/GA is one of the world’s most awarded full-service digital agencies.
