Project Details
「宵桜、朧月」(Cherry Blossoms, Hazy Moon) is an original, conceptual live calligraphy performance at Artechouse in Washington DC, coinciding with Artechouse's immersive interactive exhibition "Sakura Yume". I composed an original poem inspired by the theme of cherry blossoms, and performed live calligraphy on and inside of a circular structure with sheer fabric affixed, accompanied by the original sound composition by Corey Fuller.
Conceptualized and produced in collaboration with Riki K, Sandra. Executed in support by stage production assistant Zon Chu, Simona Uza and Artechouse production team.
